HB Pete and much R&R

Wow. The year is almost over and looking back on it has been taking me through a whirlwind of emotions. I've come to learn alot this past year, about who I am and where I'm headed, what I really want out of life and what's more important to me. I've loved every moment of it...even the bad ones. After all, there's a lesson to be learned from all our experiences.

I'm loving every minute of life itself now. I'm no longer depressed and I now focus on feeling good. Who would have guessed that my connection with James from the very beginning that cold day this past March would have taken me to a place of serenity and love? I'm in this glorious wonderful place today. It's like all the questions I've had about life and my purpose have been answered and that has brought me such inexplainable relief. The whole process has been great although I keep scratching my head on how I came to know the whole Abraham issue. I mean, I've watched the Secret many times and thought that was how I came to know Abraham but that's just not the case. After watching The Secret again last night, Esther wasn't on it and it's just mind boggling on how it has been revealed to me. I still can't figure out how. None the less, I'm still grateful that I have had the opportunity to read a couple of books from Esther and Jerry. I'm even thinking of attending one of their workshops come March.

I've had a wonderous Christmas with the family even though this was the first year we didn't spend it with my extended family. My brother had won a trip to the Dominican so we didn't get a chance to get together for dinner. Even though I missed sharing the laughs with my side of the family, I'm happy that my bro had a great time with his immediate family and I'm also greatful for Pete's family for sharing Christmas with us.

I've been off work now for almost 2 weeks and while my kids have at times have tested my patience, staying home and taking care of things at my pace without the usual rushing has been a blessing. I'd love to one day work from home where I wouldn't have to worry about being on time. I think I'm savouring that part of my days off the most.

Today is Pete's birthday. The girls and I have already baked him a heart shaped strawberry shortcake and will be preparing his favourite dish of gnocchi in a basil sauce with meatballs. Danica surprised both of us by making us a breakfast of toast with jam this morning. That was sweet.

My plans today consist of soaking as much R&R as possible with a little JB in the mix....that is, after I've cleaned up all the flour from the gnocchi making off of the floor.

Best wishes to you and yours for the New Year!
Trin
PS: Much needed new material from JB is needed ASAP. *hint hint, James...lol

Happy Birthday Danica!

I can't believe I have a 10yr old daughter.
